Nina Kojima’s Home Page

With over 22 years of experiences working in radio and television (National Radio Television Slovenia), Nina decided to take on a new challenge of film directing.

I was absolutely thrilled that Three Little Hearts won again in five categories at the Global Film Festival Awards, including the ‘Best Director’, as well as ‘Best Fantasy Short’, ‘Best Original Content’, ‘Best Supporting Actress’ for my regular heroine Elisabeth, and ‘Best Ensemble Cast’ for Luke and the fantastic acting talents of six young actresses – including my 11 year old daughter Mei and her classmates.  GFF Awards is based in Los Angeles, the centre of global film industry, and the competition attracts several hundred entities, as the awards are judged by the special jury formed by Hollywood producers, European and international distributors.  Whilst my previous film ‘Libido’ has also been honoured by this festival, it was for student film category and this time the award was all the more special, as it was for an open category for the professional independent filmmakers from around the globe.
