With over 22 years of experiences working in radio and television (National Radio Television Slovenia), Nina decided to take on a new challenge of film directing.

It was very sad year for the independent filmmakers. But on a very positive note Raindance Film Festival opened with its annual Gala Event and I was able to see some of my friends from the film world. Big Thanks to Elliot Grove, the founder of the festival, who let the magic happen! We were there, it wasn’t a virtual Pixie Dust! The opening night with the British-Canadian film Stardust produced by Salon Pictures and directed by Gabriel Range, the film depicts Bowie’s first trip to the US in 1971, which inspired him to create the alter ego Ziggy Stardust. Due to Covid this opening was different; significantly reduced audience was all wearing masks provided by Raindance.
